A few  minutes from the Waterfall of the Marmore, immersed in the charming landscape of the green hills that appear long the winding route of the river Nera (Valnerina), the farmhouse "Poggio delle Rocche" represents an oasis of peace and tranquility.  Thanks to the special geographic location it is possible to reach the most important towns of art in Umbria and you can also do  rafting, climbing, trekking and riding in mountain bike.
In Umbria, under the Waterfall of the Marmore, less than an hour drive  from Rome, there is an ideal place for doing rafting: coming down rapidly in dinghy in  the fantastic falls.  Here river  Nera runs on the rocks for more than  three kilometres, forming rapids of fourth degree, (from 1 to 6 rafting difficulty), surrounded from a thriving vegetation, in an environment that seems tropical.  ?Poggio delle Rocche? surrounded from forests of holms and oaks, ideal place for picking , in the woods, asparagus and mushrooms it is not difficult to meet wild animals like hares, wild boar, pheasants while walking through the woods. 
The agricultural company is  destined exclusively to biological agriculture, produces in quantity limited the fragrant oil of olive ("muraiolo"), vegetables and cereals destined to the animals for bovine production of meats.  An important point  is the care that the owner of the farmhouse dedicates to their guests, cooking personally tipical dishes  from the agricultural company: from bruschette, "picchittini" to truffles, grilled meats , roast chickens , deserts and other delighting sweets from this area. 
The stay of the guest  is enhanced  from the beautiful panoramic view that it is enjoyed from the comfortable rooms, furnished with pieces of furniture realized specially from the owner of house and, in the summer period, from the characteristic pool.
