A traditional umbrian hamlet set amongst beautiful rolling hills where the Colli Orvietani decline towards Tuscany.
The structure consists of two old farmhouses and lies at the end of a country road surrounded by olive groves and wheat fields. The houses have been restored keeping faith with the finest local tradition, one of them has been converted into lodgings for guests. Bedrooms are spacious and bright and are all provided with private facilities; the ones upstairs enjoy a panoramic view over the valley, the ones at ground floor have independent entrance though the garden.
They are all differently furnished according to personal taste but also keeping the style and charm of country tradition. At first floor a nice restaurant where you can enjoy the pleasure of a genuine breakfast, a quick lunch or a rich dinner after a day spent wandering around. Dining in the garden beneath the stars is also advisable. Our cooking is based on the use of either organically home grown products such as wheat-flour, olive oil, fruit, vegetable or selected products coming from nearby farms.
The interiors of the bigger house is still being restored, at ground floor, where the stable for cows was, is now being turned into a more spacious restaurant overlooking the swimming-pool with a big fireplace inside; when the setting up of the kitchen will be finished guests will be welcomed in taking part in cooking classes especially dedicated to the preparation of pasta and bread. Common spaces will also be available for guests such as reading-room, tv-lounge, internet-point. Attached to the house a wood-burning brick oven, now restored, spread in the oven the aroma of home-made bread or pizza. Inside the farm a natural pond is now dedicated to the breading of ducks and geese.
