Poggio ai Cieli is a small, wine-producing holding of 10 hectares, situated in a hilly position at only 8 km from San Gimignano. It is an ideal place to pass a peaceful holiday in the countryside and at the same time it is an easy starting point to visit cities of art or to go for a walk in the charming natural surroundings. The ancient farmhouse has been restored  and subdivided into comfortable flats and rooms. All around the building there are cypress, lilac hedges, majestic pine trees, woods, olive groves, vineyards and .. lots of facilities and services available for our guests. In the portico in front of the cellar you can admire some agricultural machinery which is disused nowadays and has become a "museum piece", telling you the story of our agriculture. During spring and summertime, the swimming pool offers the possibility to enjoy pleasant and unforgettable moments of entertainment and relaxation. For the lovers of  nature we have set out an educational nature trail which passes through the farmland and which lets you discover, by its 14 stages, the Tuscan countryside: a natural environment, where the age-old presence of man has modelled the profiles of the hills. At the farm you can play table tennis or cycle with the mountain-bikes (we have 5 bikes) along gravel paths, vineyards and  olive groves. In the recreation room you may consult maps of the paths to take on foot or by bike. For the little ones we have placed a small wooden "house" on a tree, where they may have a good romp and play using all their imagination.
