The turistic farm Vallarsa owes its name to a Venetian valley; in fact the family Carraro arrived to Alberese in late 1932 coming from Venetia, land that many families left during those years to complete the reclamation of Maremma which had begun by Leopoldo II . The lands left to the Lorena family until the '20s had been managed by the Veterans National Society that committed them to the farmers who arrived with the migratory flows. They worked as share croppers transforming the marsh into productive land and the family Carraro followed the destiny of the other share croppers until 1954, when the farm Vallarsa was passed to a direct management. During the year 1998 takes place the transformation into Farmhouse ready to welcome turists in the countryside and offering at the same time a witness of the rural world with a wide production of cereals, hay and cattle breeding. The farm is strictly managed by the family and therefore the owners are at the disposal of the guests in order to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The turistic farmhouse Vallarsa is plugged into a very privileged environment context. In fact, besides the quietness of the countryside, it's at the bottom of the mounts of Uccellina and inserted into the Natural Park of Maremma; it offers to the visitors an unpolluted sea, a wide pine forest at only 8 Km. and the Ombrone river environment on whose banks is the farm itself. It is provided of 2 independent houses with 2+2 beds, independent entrance and a porch. At disposal of the guests and their relax, there is a wide garden with chairs and deck chairs, bicycles and canoes for wonderful tours on the river.
