The home for the holidays, Borgo Fratta is Barberino at Mugello, hilly resort near Florence, on the territory of the Medici. The village is an ancient hunting house of the Medici, renovated with care in every detail, entirely made of stone, is divided into two buildings, with a large park, partly dedicated to individual homes and partly available to all customers. The atmosphere is that of a comfortable and refined farm house campaign, with elegantly furnished rooms that meet the Tuscan tradition, a large park, a swimming pool with sun terrace.

At  Borgo La Fratta you can spend days relaxing in the comfortable apartments, in the garden or poolside in front with a superb panorama of Lake Sling, the largest lake in Tuscany. Or from the holiday home you can visit the main towns of Tuscany and all the municipalities of Mugello. Florence is just 20 km, Lucca 60, Siena 75, Pisa 70, San Gimignano 50, Volterra 70, Bologna 50 km. The rural area is near Florence and allows our guests to spend the rest of the day and then by the stunning tranquillity of Mugello. In the area there are opportunities for shopping (Designer Outlet), sports facilities (Poggio dei Medici Golf Club, the Mugello Autodromo) and nature trails for hiking. The property covers three hectares and is entirely fenced, guests can stay in relax, sunbathe, walk, see the animals of the Apennines, cooking on wood stove in stone, make picnic and let the children play in complete safety. You can rent mountain bikes for pleasant strolls along the lake or admire the beautiful landscape that lead to Castle Trebbio. Near the village Fratta you can rent canoes and windsurfing on the lake to live in a relaxing and pleasant. From this summer on reservation will also be able to dine in the new restaurant on the lake. 

APARTMENTS All apartments, recently renovated, while maintaining the spirit and character of typical Tuscan countryside construction, and feature all the amenities: colour TV, refrigerator, freezer, heating, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, safe, garden umbrella, table and chairs.  Some apartments are equipped with fireplace and wood stove. The furniture is much superior than the rustic Tuscan style and architectural features of the house. The rooms, cosy and comfortable and are furnished with wooden furniture and wrought iron beds.
