The family-run “Il Lago” offers seven comfortable rooms, each with its own bathroom and tv, and some with lake-view balcony. The dining room is warm and bright and the dishes served are lovingly prepared by the owner, Signora Maria Grazia, and her daughter, Stefania. Typical local products and homemade specialities are highlighted. Upon request, particular dishes can be prepared.

The hotel is located along the shore of Vagli lake, famous for its submerged village, and it is an ideal point of departure for excursions into the heart of the Apuan Alps park. You’ll find mountain bike paths, or you can visit the characteristic marble quarries or Arnetola and Boana caves, or simply enjoy shady walks near the lake; excursions by boat are also possible. “Il Lago” is the place to stay for a pleasant and relaxing holiday in the green Garfagnana region.
