Podere Consani The houses are situated on a small Tuscan farm in the hills between Lucca and the sea; about 20 mins from the historic town of Lucca, 45 mins from Pisa, 30 mins from the coast, 1¼ hours from Florence and 2 hrs from Siena. They are surrounded by farmland with olives, vines and woodland and have beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool is shared with the owners who live in the adjacent house. The nearest shops, banks etc. are in S.Martino in Freddana 3km away. The farm is run by the owners and there is a good assortment of animals including horses and ponies. The farm produces oil and wine and other seasonal products. The houses are in typical Tuscan style with the characteristic terra-cotta tiled floors and wooden beams. They are furnished in a simple but comfortable rustic style.
