Corte di Valle maintains the traditional structure of an agricultural complex with the Villa, Casa di Caccia (hunting lodge), Casa nel Bosco (house in the woods), and Cantina (cellar).
Each environment evokes a different atmosphere: from the most romantic in the Villa to the most traditional in the Casa nel Bosco.
Each appartment, furnished with antiques, includes moderno coveniences such as fridge, satellite tv, and hair dryer in the bathroom. .
Guests may enjoy the swimming pool, the pond and the woods..
Our Salotti, or halls, offer spaces for conventions or meetings involving 15-20 participants.
The rooms are quiet, fresh and new but retain the air of old wood and precious memories.
In 1999, the renovation work on the villa and the other buildings, carried out with passion, was completed and brought back the original splendour to this special place. The vineyards and olive groves were returned to production and the woodlands and pond were cleaned up.
Our extra virgin olive oil is harvested from the 2000 olive trees on the estate and our Chianti DOCG wine comes from 15 hectares of vineyards, some facing the villa and some on the other side of the hill. Both the oil and wine are exclusively for direct sale. In 2001 we began a trial cultivation of an old traditional Tuscan product: saffron.
The Corte di Valle restaurant starts the day with delicious breakfasts, offering international choices as well as specialties from Chianti.
Several evenings a week, dishes from the Tuscan and Chianti traditions, based on saffron, are proposed.
Simple ingredients and suggestions from friends and family who have spent many years in the kitchen are at the base of our dishes, and obviously our olive oil and wine are plentiful additions.
