At Punta Secca, in the Province of Ragusa, along the most beautiful part of the south-eastern coast of Sicily, we offer charming four-person apartments with terrace or five-person units with spacious veranda just 50 metres from the golden-sand and rock beach.
Punta Secca was an ancient Arab port of call and, in more recent times, is a characteristic fishing village. Facing south, toward the African sea, it is bathed in sunlight and has a pleasant climate year round: mild and sunny in winter, warm but with a sea breeze in summer. In the in-between months, for example April, May, September and October, it is particularly lovely as the nature of Sicily is at its most beautiful and the sea is still warm and places are not as crowded. It is a wonderful time of year for interesting excursions inland and hiking itineraries.

Five kilometres from Punta Secca there is Marina di Ragusa, an international seaside resort where you can find services, banks, post office, restaurants, discotheques, and much more. Along the coast, at a distance of about 6 km, there is the nature reserve of the mouth of the Irminio river. This uncontaminated natural oasis of typical Mediterranean maquis vegetation is home to many species of birds and is bordered by a beautiful golden sand beach.
The province of Ragusa was recently included in the World Heritage List for its precious Baroque architecture and it is a treasure trove of architectural, archaeological and naturalistic sites. In addition, there is Noto, the capital of Baroque, Siracusa, Taormina, Agrigento and Piazza Armerina: all less then two hours by car or reachable by public transportation.
The clean, clear sea is just 50 metres from the apartments, and where you’ll find a fine, golden sand beach. You can spend unforgettable days enjoy the sun and sea.
It is possible to swim, windsurf (rentals available), water ski and fish.
In addition, we can assist you with a rental car, or provide shuttle service to/from the airport or train station.
The structure
Attractive apartments (approx. 60 sq m) with two double bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom, simply but practically furnished. Four-person units have veranda in front; 5/6-person units have large veranda for outdoor dining or children’s play. Possibility of car or motorcycle parking. The apartments have potable water, electric water heater and coin-operated washing machine. Bicycle rentals available.
