b>Gavedona is a famous touristic site of the Como’s lake; it is on the occidental shore (distance from Como: about 50 Km, and from Lugano: 46 Km). It is situated in a beautiful gulf, and it is protect by the picturesque mountains. The climate is mild in winter and mitigated in the summer. In this place grow azaleas, camellia e olives. Gavedona is rich of churches and monuments (Santa Maria del Tiglio and Palazzo Gallio) and there is much evidence of the past rich of historical events.
Casa Liro: it is a new building, with garden on the river Liro; it is composed of eight apartments. It is situated at 500 metres from Gavedona’s centre and at 500 metres from the lake.
Casa Klara: It is a new two-floor building, with garden, and it is composed of 10 apartments with independent entrance and private parking. It is situated at 300 m from Consiglio di Rumo’s centre and at 800 m from the lake and from Gavedona’s centre.
In this area tourists can find good restaurants with typical food, and supermarket too. There are places that are dedicated to the sports: two swimming pools; tennis courts, football grounds, one athletic floor, bike ways, are all in the neighbours of the Casa Liro and Casa Klara.There are itinerary for mountain bike and trekking that are immerses in the seculars and tranquil woods.
The area of Alto Lario, thanks to the Breva, breeze that blow from south in the summer months, is famous for the European passionately fond of windsurfing and sailing. There are school of windsurf, of sailing and nautical ski. In Domaso (2 km) tourists can practice all the nautical sport at every level. In Pian di Spagna (10 km) it is possible riding, in Menaggio (15 Km) playing golf in a golf course with 18 halls.
In the winter months the ski lovers can easily reach renomated place like St.Moritz (1 hour e 30 min.), Madesimo (1 hour e 15 min.) and Bormio (2 hours).
It is possible to make excursions on boat to Bellagio, Piona, Varenna, Como, etc.
