Panoramic apartments in Residence Saracinesco (Rome) between Tivoli and the valley of Aniene in the Latium countryside
The high valley of Aniene is a small shrine of environmental, historical, religious treasures that can satisfy various touristic expectation.
Saracinesco overlooks the Mount Ruffi spreading over an area that extends from the Valley of Aniene to the river Fiumicino. On Mount Ruffi are found Palaeolithic testimonials and remains of cyclopean walls, this can be all seen by making an interesting hiking itinerary. The term "Ruffi" derives from the last name Romano "Rufus" belonged to this area. All the apartments are equipped with heating, hot water, TV, kitchen equipped with hot plates for cooking, refrigerator, pans, cutlery and everything needed for 4 persons. The apartments have been restructured from a medieval building recently restored that looks on the evocative public square of S. Michele di Saracinesco. From the public square there is a church of century XIII dedicated to the Saint from which you can enter into the ancient medieval fortress . Inside the fortress a depandance is located with a large garden which our activity for the preparation ceremonies, culinary, oenological events and festivities tied to the traditions of the places.
