The territory of the Tuscan region is at north and east by the Appennino Tosco Emiliano. Further south is Monte Amiata, the mountain of volcanic origin. The hills are the dominant feature of Tuscany: Chianti than those Metalliferous, the Crete Senesi, and many others.
The main valleys of Tuscany run into the river Arno, the main river of the region, the Arno and at south the Maremma.
Tuscany has a littoral almost always linear, sandy, destination, along with all other natural environments, countries and cities, a large number of tourists. For this there are numerous accommodations in Tuscany (Villas, hotels, bed and breakfast, holiday homes, villas, castles, hostels, residences, apartments) where you can stay for an enjoyable holiday at sea and also in the interior of the region.
The region is bordered to north, Liguria and Emilia Romagna, Umbria and Marche to the east, Lazio to the south and west is washed by the Tyrrhenian Sea.
