Just a few kilometres south of Salerno, in S. Cipriano Picentino, the Mazzarella agritourist farm covers 12 hectars and is a good example of the natural landscape within the
Monti Picentini natural park.
Mazzarella is the name of the locality where the farm is located, sitting on a hill overlooking the last part of the Picentino river at the foot of mount Tubenna.
The
Mazzarella farmhouse has recently been refurbished with loving care, maintaining the atmosphere of the original structure
which exudes a sense of serenity to this setting among olive and hazelnut trees. Pheasants are common visitors here and around sunset you can frequently hear the sound of woodpeckers in the trees.
Mazzarella can easily be reached from either the north or south. From the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway, exit at Pontecagnano and then continue on toward Giffoni Valle Piana. Once you reach Ponte Molinello turn right before the bridge. You’ll see indications.
The farm sits near the town of San Cipriano; the main sites of cultural and tourist interest of Campania are within an easy distance, as well as the Port of Salerno, the Capodichino airport at Naples, the A3 and A30 (Caserta-Rome) motorways, and the train stations at Salerno and Pontecagnano.

Our
six rooms include bathroom, foyer and balcony. Floors are in “Neapolitan cotto” or so-called “Riggiola”, and the furnishings and details have been carefully selected.
Mazzarella offers its guests the possibility to enjoy a comfortable stay and sincere hospitality. It is also possible to have contact with nature, and the ample outdoor spaces mean pets are also welcome.
Our kitchen prepares typical local dishes prepared by the owner’s knowledgeable and loving hands, accompanied by farm-produced wines.
